Chittur farmers are still waiting for their paddy procurement dues. In a recent public grievance interaction, MLA Sumesh Achuthan said the pending amount will reach cooperative banks within a week.

The issue is not just about delayed payment. It affects farmers’ loans, next crop planning, household expenses and basic financial security.
