The nationwide probe into the NEET-UG paper leak has officially reached Nagpur.
A specialised CBI team carried out coordinated raids across residences in Nagpur and nearby Bramhapuri in Chandrapur, targeting multiple candidates under the scanner as alleged beneficiaries of the leak network.
During the intensive operations, federal investigators seized mobile phones, laptops, iPads, and handwritten notes. The students allegedly connected with the multi-state racket through a Pune-based beautician and a chemistry lecturer, who acted as intermediaries to share confidential questions and answers during private sessions before the exam.
While no local arrests have been made yet, parents are under scrutiny, and all confiscated digital evidence has been sent for forensic analysis to map out the network before the scheduled June 21 retest.
