What happens inside a 500 L veterinary suspension injectable manufacturing unit?
It starts with high-shear dispersion - and ends with controlled, uniform sterile holding.
At SK, the process is engineered around two critical stages:
⚙️ 1. High-Shear Dispersion
A high-speed homogeniser operating at up to 3,000+ RPM helps disperse veterinary APIs, emulsifiers and thickeners by breaking down agglomerates and improving formulation uniformity.
❄️ 2. Cooling & Sterile Holding
Once homogenisation is complete, the shear device switches off. A magnetic stirrer continues at low RPM to maintain suspension uniformity while the jacketed vessel provides controlled cooling for the next stage of processing.
The 500 L unit is further engineered with:
✔ SS316L product-contact construction
✔ Electropolished internal finish
✔ Aseptic agitation
✔ CIP/SIP integration
✔ Jacketed heating & cooling
✔ Dead-leg-conscious hygienic design
✔ Sterile vent filtration
✔ Pressure/vacuum protection
✔ Nitrogen purging provision
✔ cGMP, WHO-GMP & ASME BPE-aligned engineering
