നിംസ് സ്പെക്ട്രം ശിശു വികസന ഗവേഷണ കേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ നടന്ന സമാപന സമ്മേളനത്തിൻ്റ ഉദ്ഘാടനം കേരള സർവ്വകലാശാലാ വൈസ് ചാൻസലർ ഡോ. മോഹനൻ കുന്നുമ്മൽ നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു. കേരള ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പ് ഡയറക്ടർ (DHS) ഡോ. വി. മീനാക്ഷി ചടങ്ങിൽ വിശിഷ്ടാതിഥിയായി .

രാജ്യത്തിൻ്റെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നായി കുട്ടികൾക്ക് മികച്ച പരിചരണങ്ങൾ നൽകാൻ വേണ്ടി ഹാബിലിറ്റേഷൻ ശില്പശാലയിൽ അറിവും പ്രായോഗിക പരിശീലനവും നേടാൻ നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകര നിംസ് സ്പെക്ട്രം ശിശു വികസന ഗവേഷണ കേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ എത്തി ചേർന്നവരെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം പ്രസംഗത്തിൽ കേരള സർവകലാശാലാ വൈസ് ചാൻസലർ ഡോ. മോഹനൻ കുന്നുമ്മൽ പ്രത്യേകം പ്രശംസിച്ചു . ഇത്തരം ശില്പശാലകളിലൂടെ യുവഡോക്‌ടർമാർ പരിശീലനം നേടുന്നത് കുട്ടികളുടെ ഉന്നമനത്തിനും അതിലൂടെ രാജ്യ പുരോഗതിക്കും ഏറെ വിലപ്പെട്ടതാണ് എന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടി ചേർത്തു.

നിംസ് മെഡിസിറ്റി ജനറൽ മാനേജർ ഡോ. കെ. എ. സജു അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ച ചടങ്ങിൽ നിംസ് സ്പെക്ട്രം ഡയറക്ടറും മുൻ ആരോഗ്യ സർവ്വകലാശാല ചാൻസലറുമായ പ്രൊഫ (ഡോ) എം.കെ.സി നായർ ദേശീയ തലത്തിൽ Habilitative Intervention പരിശീലനങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാധാന്യത്തെ കുറിച്ച് ക്ലാസ് നൽകി. നിംസ് സ്പെക്ട്രം ശിശു വികസന കേന്ദ്രത്തിൻ്റെ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളെയും പരിശീലനങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ചും അധ്യക്ഷത പ്രസംഗത്തിൽ നിംസ് മെഡിസിറ്റി ജനറൽ മാനേജർ ഡോ. കെ. എ. സജു സംസാരിച്ചു.

നിംസ് മെസിസിറ്റി ന്യൂറോ ഡെവലപ്മെന്റൽ പീഡിയാട്രീഷൻ ഡോ. അശോക് സ്വാഗതം ആശംസിച്ച ചടങ്ങിൽ നിംസ് മെഡിസിറ്റി മെഡിക്കൽ അഡ്മിനിസ്ട്രേറ്ററും ചീഫ് നെഫ്രോളജിസ്റ്റുമായ ഡോ. മഞ്ജു തമ്പി നിംസ് മെഡിസിറ്റിയുടെ സാമൂഹിക പ്രതിബദ്ധതമായ വിവിധ പദ്ധതികളെ സദസ്സിന് പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തി.

കുട്ടികൾക്ക് ആവശ്യമായ പരിചരണങ്ങും തെറാപ്പിയും നൽകുന്നതിനെ കുറിച്ചും
കുട്ടിയെ മാത്രം ചികിത്സിക്കുന്നതിന് പകരം ആരോഗ്യ പ്രവർത്തകരും തെറാപ്പിസ്റ്റുകളും
മാതാപിതാക്കൾക്ക് പ്രത്യേക പരിശീലനം നൽകുന്ന Parent-Mediated Intervention നെ കുറിച്ച് നിംസ് പീഡിയാട്രിക്സ് & നിയോനറ്റോളജി വിഭാഗം മേധാവി ഡോ. ഹസീന സംസാരിച്ചു.
