Glimpses of the House Surgeons' Case Presentations held on 22.07.2026 at the VC Room, CCRAS - RARI, Thiruvananthapuram.
Three groups of House Surgeons presented interesting clinical cases under the guidance of Dr. Praveen.B, Dr. Aswani P. S., and Dr. Abhayadev.A. The session witnessed the active participation of all Research Officers (ROs), Senior Research Fellows (SRFs), and House Surgeons, fostering an enriching academic discussion and collaborative learning environment.

The International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2026 was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the CCRAS Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI), Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram, under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. The main function was held at the Corporation Hall, Saraswathy Mandapam, Poojappura, and witnessed active participation from local residents, skating students, their parents, institute staff, and members of the public, making it a vibrant community celebration of yoga.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Krishna Rao S, Research Officer (Ay). The event was inaugurated by Smt. Kiran Narayanan, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Kerala Police, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The presidential address was delivered by Dr. Sree Deepthi G. N., Research Officer (In-charge), CCRAS-RARI, Poojappura.
A highlight of the celebration was the Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) Session, led by Dr. Vasundhara V. S., Director, Jeevanam Naturopathy Clinic, Thiruvananthapuram. The session received enthusiastic participation from staff members, students, and the general public.
As part of the observance, a Yoga Posture Competition for staff and Medicinal plant distribution were organized.
The overall programme was effectively moderated by Dr. Indu S., Research Officer (Ay), while the competitions were coordinated by Dr. Aswani P. S., Research Officer (Ay). The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Saniya C. K., Research Officer (Ay) and Nodal Officer, International Day of Yoga 2026, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, participants, organizers, and all those who contributed to the successful celebration of International Day of Yoga 2026

Mass Pledge Campaign Conducted by CCRAS Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Thiruvananthapuram under Nasha Mukth Bharat Abhiyan

As part of Nasha Mukth Bharat Abhiyan, CCRAS - Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Thiruvananthapuram conducted a mass pledge taking campaign for the staff at the Institute on 25.06.2026. Dr. Sreedeepthi G N, RO (Ay.), In-charge of the Institute, administered the pledge to the gathering and Dr. Aswani P S, RO (Ay.) coordinated the event. A total of, 20 people participated in the campaign and took the pledge to stay away from drugs and spread awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse in the community.
