👁️ 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐚 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐄𝐲𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥, 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐮𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚
In connection with 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐚 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 (March 08–14), an awareness class on 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐚, one of the leading causes of blindness, was conducted at 𝐀𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐄𝐲𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥, 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐮𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚
Students and teachers from 𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐒 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞,𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐮𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚 actively participated in the session. Experts explained the causes, symptoms, prevention methods, and the importance of regular eye examinations to detect glaucoma at an early stage.
The program emphasized that 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒆𝒚𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒄𝒌-𝒖𝒑𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝒈𝒍𝒂𝒖𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒂.

CIAS College Commences New Academic Year with Grand Opening Ceremony

CIAS College inaugurated the new academic year 2025-2028 with a grand ceremony, marking a new chapter in its pursuit of academic excellence. Esteemed dignitaries, including Shri Jobin K George, Tahsildar & Executive Magistrate, Thiruvalla, and Rev. Dr. Thomas Abraham, Presiding Bishop, ST. Thomas Evangelical Church, graced the occasion.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome address by Shri Ninan K Thomas, Administrator, CIAS College.

Shri Siby Thomas, Managing Director, delivered the presidential address, highlighting the institution's vision for the future.

The distinguished guests who attended the event were honored by the college's Managing Partner, Shri Jojo P Thomas.

Academic Excellence Awards were distributed by Shri Adv. Sanal Kumar, Vice Chairman, Kerala State Co-operative Employees. A charity distribution ceremony was also held, led by Shri R Jayakumar, Ex-Chairman, Thiruvalla Municipality.

Notable dignitaries in attendance included Shri Vijayakumar Manipuzha, General Secretary, BJP Pathanamthitta District; Shri M Salim, President, Merchants Association Thiruvalla; and Dr. Madhur Verghese, Admin & Director, Amita Eye Care Hospital, Thiruvalla.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri Jijo Cherian, Faculty, CIAS College, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty, and students for their presence.

Happy 79th Independence Day🇮🇳

India began celebrating Independence Day on 15th August 1947, marking the end of nearly 200 years of British colonial rule. This historic day commemorates the nation’s freedom struggle led by countless freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for independence. The date was chosen as it was the day when the Indian Independence Act of 1947 came into effect, officially transferring power from the British Crown to the Indian leadership. Since then, the day is celebrated annually with flag hoisting, parades, and cultural events across the country. It serves as a reminder of India’s unity, sovereignty, and the enduring spirit of freedom.
