“Ayurveda is outdated” is a common statement.
But pause and think—has the human body really changed?

We still eat through the mouth.
Digestion still happens in the gut.
The heart still pumps blood.
The brain still coordinates the body.

If these fundamental functions remain the same,
how can a system based on observing them become irrelevant?

Ayurveda is not about trends.
It is about understanding how the body functions—
through hunger, digestion, sleep, energy, and balance.

What has changed is not our biology,
but our lifestyle, habits, and environment.

So the question is not whether Ayurveda is outdated—
but whether we are applying it with proper understanding today.

Simple… but not easy.

Many people asked me why I said to move your body on an empty stomach in the morning. #

“When you wake up, your body has just finished a long night of rest and digestion.”

“Your stomach is empty. Your body is light. Circulation is calm.”

“If you move your body at this time, the whole system wakes up.”

“Blood starts circulating better.”

“Muscles and joints loosen.”

“And very importantly, the digestive system gets activated for the day.”

“If you eat first and then try to exercise, the body is busy digesting food.”

“But when the stomach is empty, the body can fully focus on movement.”

“That is why morning movement feels lighter and more energising.”

“And why did I say only 10 minutes?”

“Because you don’t need a long workout to wake up the body.”

“Ten minutes is enough to activate circulation, stimulate the muscles, and signal the body that the day has started.”

“It’s not about intense exercise.”
