Sangha Excerpt - Meditation & Enlightenment
Meditation is patiently awaiting an unknown occurrence. The essence lies in remaining in a space of anticipation without expectations, projections, or greed.
True meditation involves staying in the present moment, contrasting with impatient desires for specific outcomes.
I emphasize that having the same meditation experience every time may indicate stagnation. True meditation results in diverse experiences, reflecting personal evolution and emotional encounters.
The discomfort of projecting or expecting a particular experience is highlighted as counterproductive.
Meditation involves silencing the mind and letting go of anticipations or desires. Staying in a state of quiet anticipation, free from the mind's imaginative projections. Greed, likened to the craving for material possessions, can impede genuine meditation.
Enlightenment, is the state of awakening to your true nature. It is a transformative process that transcends the ordinary mind and its attachments. However, seeking enlightenment with a predetermined notion or desire may hinder its attainment.
