He didn’t start with a big city.
He started with a big belief.
Meet Mayank Vaishnav — Founder of Rosto Snacks.
Coming from Udaipur, a Tier-2/3 city, Mayank didn’t have the luxury of a huge network, endless resources, or a ready-made playbook.
But he had something more powerful — the courage to start.
He looked at the Indian snack industry and asked a simple question:
“Why can’t traditional Indian snacks become the next big global snacking brands?”
That question became Rosto.
From traditional khakhra to modern, flavour-packed snacks…
From a small beginning to thousands of packets reaching consumers across India…
From being told “this won’t work” to making people say “I want more.”
The journey hasn’t been easy.
There were failures.
There were doubts.
There were days when giving up felt easier.
But Mayank kept choosing one thing — to keep building.

Today, Rosto is not just about snacks.
It is about making Indian snacks exciting for the new generation.
It is about proving that a brand can be built from Udaipur and still dream of sitting on the same shelf as the biggest names in India.
The journey has just begun.
From Udaipur to India. 🇮🇳
From traditional to new-age.
From one dream to a movement.
This is Mayank Vaishnav.
This is the Rosto story.
