Indian diet generally contains of Max carbs ,low protein and fat.. Bcoz of low socioeconomic status majority Indian population can't afford protein sources in their diet.. High carbs leads to quick rise in sugars and cholestrol and obesity, which acts as a precursor for Diabetes.
