Punarjeevan Bihar continuation of an organization rendering health care services to rural population since last 15 yrs i.e.-Indra Gandhi Memorial Rural Health Foundation been duly registered in 1998 under society registration act vide registration number 195/98-99 and founded by devoted philanthropist, dedicated Social Workers, Intellectuals, Educationist, and Medical Consultants with a so
le objective of sustainable health of rural and neglected population. towards a sustained social and economic status and dignity of rural poor and deprived people in the society particularly tribal poor with a particular emphasis on women, children and aged who are neglected and distressed. The organisation prepares the poor and marginalized people to undertake the responsibilities of socio-economic development by themselves. General Governing body elects Executive committee members. At present there are 9 executive committee members in our executive board. Election of Executive Committee members takes place on every three years. There are three office bearers President, Secretary and Treasurer and 5 executive members. Any financial matter and bank A/c operation is done jointly by Secretary and Treasurer. Any decision of the organization is discussed and finalized in Executive Committee meeting as and when required. Annual activities and statement of income and expenditure of the organization is presented in the General Governing Body meeting. Before starting the project, implementation strategies is discussed in the Executive Committee meeting and project implementation is done under the supervision of the Secretary with the help Project Incharge, Project Coordinator, Supervisors and Community Organizers. Assessment and evaluation is always being intimated to executive committee members. Some of executive committee members also participate in project planning, implementation and evaluation system.
