Dear people 🦋

Right now, I’m in a situation where I need to prioritize my health and focus on healing. 💙

I’m very sad that I had to cancel Birka at the last minute, but I was offered a last-minute appointment with a specialist doctor that I simply couldn’t postpone. My health has to come first this year. 💙

I’m already looking forward to coming back to next year! 🦋

I will still be attending all the other Viking festivals as scheduled: 💙

Handpoked in Reykjavík, Iceland.

This piece is rooted in early Norse tradition, combining runes with Huginn and Muninn — the ravens of Odin. According to Norse mythology, they travelled across the world each day, returning with knowledge, carrying thought and memory between realms.

Runes were used as a written system, but were also understood to hold deeper meaning within Norse belief and tradition.

Hand-poked guardian of Iceland

This piece is inspired by one of Iceland’s four Landvættir — the ancient guardian spirits of the island. The bird represents the northern protector, watching over the land.

The design comes from the old shield motif seen on Icelandic coins and the national coat of arms, where the four guardians stand around the cross: the dragon, the bull, the giant, and the bird.

I hand-poked this in Reykjavík keeping the lines simple and strong, with soft dotwork for depth. It’s a modern take on an old protector — a symbol of strength, land, and quiet watchfulness.

The past half year has been a true rollercoaster ❤️
It has asked me to change, to let go, so new things could arrive.
Along the way, I’ve learned who my true circle is — and, more importantly, I’ve chosen myself and started standing firmly in what I believe in.

So much is unfolding right now that sometimes it feels like I don’t know which end to hold on to. But I think that’s part of choosing growth over comfort — refusing to sit still, and allowing myself to learn and evolve ❤️

Until the summer Viking festivals, I’ll mostly be in Iceland, with trips to Copenhagen and Aarhus (or nearby).
I’ll try to attend more festivals, and otherwise my travels will begin again in May/June as they usually do ❤️

I’m open for bookings in Iceland right now but will post when I know about my travels ❤️
