The Poggi Group was established in 1945 by the brothers Alberto and Giuliano Poggi and this is a 100% Italian Company. The core business of the Poggi Group is the design and the construction of vertical and horizontal silos, water clarifiers and aggregate bins in different sizes and kinds for many industry fields. The production also includes metal structures – civil/ industrial metal structures -

metal structures on drawing. The results, obtained in the many years of uninterrupted activity, are a proof that the Brothers Poggi, from the beginning of their business, were aware that customer satisfaction and Company longevity would have only been possible through willingness and flexibility, together with a great passion for this work. Equally important was the ability over time to adopt innovative technical solutions, investment in human resources, the ability to listen to customer needs and above all the ability to understand, interpret and only then implement them. Since its creation, the Poggi Group bases its future on these principles that address any issues with the necessary experience and without hesitation to the most difficult challenges in the years to come. 🚚 On its way to Birmingham

One of our Horizontal Silos has just left our production facility and is heading to the Birmingham NEC, where it will be exhibited during The UK Concrete Show, taking place on 25–26 March.

Horizontal silos represent a reliable and versatile solution for the storage of powder materials, designed to ensure operational efficiency, ease of transport and quick installation across different industrial environments.

The silo departing today is an ORC 36, truck transport version, with a capacity of 36 m³, designed for the storage of powdered materials and manufactured according to high construction standards.

During The UK Concrete Show it will be possible to see it up close at our exhibition space and meet our sales managers (Keith Ragg, Andrea Bertelli), who will be pleased to welcome customers, partners and visitors.

Silo replacement in an existing plant

In the cement industry, powder storage requires reliability, operational continuity and adaptability to existing plants.
For this project, Poggi Spa designed and installed a monolithic silo for cement powder storage, replacing an existing silo without modifying the plant structure.

The customer’s requirement was clear:

👉 to install a new silo within an already operating plant, ensuring dimensional compatibility, safety and high performance.

The result is a tailor-made solution that demonstrates the ability to operate on existing plants while minimizing downtime and ensuring reliable performance in high-intensity production environments.

Sostituzione silos in impianto esistente

Nel settore del cemento, lo stoccaggio delle polveri richiede affidabilità, continuità operativa e capacità di adattamento agli impianti esistenti.
Per questo intervento, Poggi Spa ha progettato e installato un silos monolitico per lo stoccaggio di polveri cementizie, in sostituzione di un silo preesistente e senza modificare la struttura dell’impianto.

La richiesta del cliente era chiara:

👉 installare un nuovo silos all’interno di un impianto già operativo, garantendo compatibilità dimensionale, sicurezza e prestazioni elevate.

Il risultato è una soluzione su misura che dimostra la capacità di intervenire su impianti esistenti, riducendo i tempi di fermo e assicurando standard elevati di affidabilità per settori ad alta intensità produttiva.
