One of the most iconic Sicilian recipes ever: Pasta alla Norma 🍆❤️

Simple ingredients, intense flavours and all the warmth of Sicilian tradition in one dish ☀️

🛒 Ingredients for 4 people:
• 350 gr of pasta
• 2 aubergines
• 500 g tomato sauce
• Extra virgin olive oil
• 2 garlic cloves
• Salt & basil
• Ricotta salata to taste

👩‍🍳 Method:

1. Cut the aubergines into cubes and fry them until golden.
2. Prepare the sauce with olive oil, garlic and tomato sauce. Add salt and basil.
3. Cook the pasta and mix it with the sauce.
4. Add the fried aubergines and finish with plenty of grated ricotta salata.

And now… close your eyes and enjoy Sicily 🇮🇹✨

At this time of year, our fields are filled with little yellow flowers that seem to paint the spring landscape 🌼✨

It’s called ''ACETOSELLA'' and is a wild plant that grows naturally amongst the rows of our citrus groves. As well as being beautiful to look at, it’s also edible! 🌿

It has a fresh, slightly tangy flavour, perfect for adding a touch of zest to salads, creative dishes, or simply to enjoy whilst out for a walk in the countryside 🍋💛

For us, it’s one of those little details that capture the authentic life of the Sicilian countryside: untamed nature, biodiversity, and seasons that change slowly under the Sicilian sun ☀️🌱
