This year I turned 50 in April, and as a challenge to myself I am walking the 2026 Yes to Life Global Camino Challenge to help raise £100,000 for people living with cancer. I'll be joining the Yes to Life team to walk 120km along the Portuguese Way from Vigo to Santiago de Compestela, Spain from the 03-11 October. You can get involved by sponsoring me or by signing up to your own walk from home. All the info can be found here https://thecaminochallenge.yestolife.org.uk/
In the twenty years since my family lost my father John to oesophageal cancer there are now more choices than ever for integrative cancer care - such as nutrition, targeted metabolic therapies, lifestyle medicine, exercise, repurposed drugs, holistic treatments, trauma release, sleep and stress support, breath work, sauna, talking therapies and much more more...
Sadly, many of these complementary therapies are still not widely referred to by Standard of Care Oncology teams despite the growing evidence for their role in cancer survivorship and improved quality of life. Many people lose hope and go on believing there is nothing they can do to support their cancer journey.
Yes to Life support an integrative approach to cancer, providing a detailed Directory of Integrative Services and offering FREE wellbeing sessions and cancer support groups.
Walking the Yes to Life Camino is my way of giving other families the gift of choice.
