Gallen Consensus Conference on Breast Cancer in Vienna in 2017. Nine European experts on breast cancer surgery discussed how to promote scientific collaboration of surgical oncologists within Europe. ooperate as a network in order to reach their common goals. The purpose of the EUBREAST Network is to research less extensive approaches to breast cancer surgery in order to improve the quality of life of affected women and helping them to return to active daily life faster. Combining the competence of renowned European breast cancer surgeons within cooperating charitable non-profit associations, scientific progress can be transferred to actual clinical practice much faster for the benefit of affected patients. The EUBREAST Network plans and coordinates the implementation of projects and trials. It is legally capable of action via its registered associations in the countries.
