On March 2nd and 3rd, we held the SIOPE BTG HGG Working Group meeting in Rome.
Over two half-days, we engaged in in-depth discussions and shared ongoing scientific projects on high-grade gliomas (HGG), bringing together scientists, colleagues and friends from across Europe.
Our goals were to exchange updates on each group’s work in the field of HGG, strengthen existing collaborations and foster new ones.
All of this took place against the backdrop of an extraordinary Rome.
The Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori of Milan was represented by Dr. Maura Massimino, Director of the Pediatric Oncology Unit, Dr. Veronica Biassoni, Dr. Elisabetta Schiavello, Dr. Olga Nigro, researchers Dr. Chiara Dossena and Dr. Loris De Cecco, together with the neurosurgeon Dr. Andrea Trezza (Fondazione IRCCS San Gerardo dei Tintori , Monza).
