Quest'ora non sa di nessuno. La campagna è ferma, il grano andato.
Bianca sul ramo, fiorisce l'essenza. Germogli di arancia amara, che ti hanno aspettato.
C'è una piccola chiesa oltre gli aranci. La porta è socchiusa.
Sa di mirra la soglia. E l'aria che respiri, germoglia.

Alcuni fiori aspettano il buio per aprirsi.
In quei momenti, quando il calore del giorno è ancora sulla pelle e sa di cocco, nel giardino il gelsomino si schiude. Con lui si aprono il tiarè, la tuberosa, l’ylang-ylang. L’aria diventa più densa. Si può quasi sfiorare.
Qualcuno si avvicina. Sa di vaniglia.
Non servono parole. Le distanze si accorciano da sole. La notte è morbida, sensuale.
Lascia che resti sulla pelle. Vi avvolgerà come Sabbia Bianca.
