Sometimes they help because **not helping feels unsafe**.

They may have learned that being useful creates connection. Being responsible earns love. Keeping everyone else okay keeps the peace.

So they step forward and say:

“I’ll handle it.”

That strategy may have helped you survive—but it was never meant to run the entire kingdom.

But when being needed becomes proof that you matter, caring can quietly become a survival strategy.

Every kingdom needs someone who remembers.

The Wisdom Keeper doesn't rush to fix.

She doesn't judge.

She doesn't ask you to forget.

Instead, she sits with the stories long enough to uncover the wisdom hidden inside them.

She knows something many of us forget:

Every survival strategy accepted its job for a reason.

Every dragon learned to protect something.

And beneath every protective pattern is a treasure that deserves to be reclaimed.

Around here, we don't rush to slay dragons.

We get curious enough to understand why they showed up in the first place.

Because every treasure has a story.

And every story has the power to become something new.

What if the parts of yourself you've spent years trying to fix...

were never trying to hurt you?

Many of the patterns we criticize in ourselves began as brilliant solutions.

They helped us stay safe.

Stay connected.

Stay accepted.

Stay alive.

Over time, those protective strategies can become so automatic that we mistake them for who we are.

They're not.

They're survival strategies.

Over the next few weeks, I'll be introducing the dragons that represent these strategies and exploring how they develop, what they protect, and the treasures they may have been guarding all along.

Because healing doesn't begin with asking,

"What's wrong with me?"

It begins with asking,

"What was this trying to protect?"

The Truth Keeper doesn't slay dragons.

She introduces you to them.

She carries a lantern instead of a sword.

A notebook instead of a shield.

Questions instead of judgments.

Around here, dragons aren't villains.

They're protectors.

Every survival strategy developed for a reason.

The Truth Keeper simply helps us notice who has been standing watch over the kingdom and what treasures they may have been guarding all along.

Because there is no wrong dragon.

There is no wrong place to begin.

Curiosity will show you the way.

Sometimes that's all it takes to interrupt an old pattern.

Not shame.

Not blame.

Just enough curiosity to pause.

Because in that pause...

something new becomes possible.

I think people are going to be meeting someone special very soon. 💛

We all have moments where we feel like life is just happening to us.

But often...

it's not life making the decision.

It's an old protective pattern quietly trying to keep us safe.

The goal isn't to fight it.

The goal is to notice it.

Because what you notice...

you can begin to choose differently.

💛 Sometimes the biggest shift begins with a pause.

There was a time when those patterns made perfect sense.

Maybe staying quiet kept the peace.

Maybe people-pleasing helped you feel accepted.

Maybe being independent felt safer than relying on someone else.

Maybe staying in control helped you feel prepared.

Your mind wasn't trying to sabotage you.

It was trying to protect you.

The question is whether they're still making decisions for a version of you that no longer needs the same protection.

Sometimes the kindest thing we can do isn't judge the pattern...

It's thank it for getting us this far —

and gently ask if it's ready for a new job.

💛Protection isn't the problem.

The question is whether the strategy still fits the life you are trying to live.

Some of the biggest decisions we make happen before we even realize we're making them.

Sometimes we avoid.

Sometimes we over-explain.

Sometimes we people-please.

Sometimes we stay silent.

Not because we consciously chose to...

but because something familiar quietly stepped in.

Awareness isn't about judging those moments.

It's about finally seeing them.

Because once you see them...

choice becomes possible.
