What if the obstacle is not on my path?
What if the obstacle is within me?

My need to control.
My attachment to an outcome.
My fear of losing.
My insistence on being loved a certain way.
The version of me I have outgrown, but still refuse to release.

Perhaps Ganesha doesn’t always clear the road for us.
Sometimes, He clears us for the road.

Born of Shakti, transformed through Shiva—His own story reminds us that transformation may first feel like something is being taken away. Yet sometimes, what breaks is simply the form that can no longer carry us towards our highest self.

So today my prayer is not only—

“Ganesha, mere vighn har lo.”

It is—

“Ganesha, mujhe mere vighn dikha do.
Jo प्रेम और मेरे बीच खड़ा है,
उसे देखने का साहस दो…
और छोड़ने की कृपा।”

Because perhaps the highest form of Vighnaharta is not removing everything that stands in our way—

but removing everything within us that stands in the way of Love. 🤍

You begin to create when you stop asking, “What will I get?”
and start asking, “What am I here to give?”

When you release the need to control the outcome,
life begins to meet you with circumstances that reveal your potential.

We are all contributors to this universe,
the journey is becoming aware of what only we can bring.

So the journey is:
Surrender → Awareness → Alignment → Contribution → Creation.

And perhaps the most beautiful part is this: the universe doesn’t necessarily give you what you want; it gives you circumstances through which you can become more of what you are capable of being.

When I pray, I talk to God.
When I whirl, we are in a dialogue.
With every turn, I listen a little deeper,
surrender a little more,
until prayer is no longer something I do
it is something I become.

Whirling becomes a practice of love,
a gentle unlearning of our need to hold, control and know.
With each turn, there is an invitation to soften the fear of falling,
to trust what holds us,
and to let the Divine move through us.
When the body becomes a prayer,
the mind need not be silenced, it simply has less to hold onto.
And in that spaciousness,
love is no longer something we seek or possess.
It becomes something we experience,
a quiet recognition of the Divinity already within.

Sufism , it doesn’t ask you to love only the Divine.
Rather for ishq e haqiqi , it asks you to truly enquire what is love ?
हक़ीक़त है इश्क़ जहाँ झूट नहीं पहुँच सकता इश्क़ा

Love the people around you.
Love them deeply.
Love fully truly without saving yourself .

Because the Divine is your true beloved and you can only reach Him by learning to love perfectly and imperfect human .

But we fail in the act of love as we try to protect ourselves, control in name of care , worry about receiving more than giving .

So how do we break the habit of loving with conditions?

We say it so easily today — “I am spiritual.” 🌿
But what does it truly mean to be spiritual?

If every change in relationship, health, money or circumstances can disturb my sense of self, perhaps I have understood spirituality intellectually — but have not yet recognised the Self.

Because suffering so often begins here:

मैं। मेरा। मुझे।

The body experiences karma.
The mind experiences pain, desire and attachment.
But the soul is the Sakshi — the witness.

जो बदल रहा है, वह तुम कैसे हो सकते हो?

Everything around us changes.
लेकिन इन सबके पीछे कुछ है जो नहीं बदलता।

Spirituality begins when you start recognising the unchanging within everything that is changing.

दुःख आए तो देखो —
कौन-सी इच्छा टूटी?
कौन-सा attachment हिला?
किस “मैं, मेरा, मुझे” को चोट लगी?

For me, this is where spirituality stops being an idea and starts becoming a lived experience.

You move from being a victim of circumstances to becoming the Sakshi — an active participant in the Leela. 🤍

And your birth chart can be a beautiful mirror for understanding the experiences your soul has chosen for its evolution.

Because evolution is the very purpose of this human experience.
