We’re incredibly proud to announce that Matt Carr has been promoted to Registered Manager of Aurum Home Care! 💙

Since joining Aurum and leading our Specialist Services team, Matt has shown exactly what it means to lead with compassion, professionalism and .

His experience, commitment to our clients and passion for supporting our people and the wider community have made him a hugely valued member of the Aurum family.

Now, Matt takes on an even bigger role, overseeing Aurum Home Care as our Registered Manager, working alongside the team to continue delivering the safe, person-centred and compassionate care that our clients and families rely on.

At Aurum Home Care, specialist support is about so much more than simply helping someone get through the day. 💙

In this film, our Deputy Manager, Nikki, spends time with Vicky — one of the people we are proud to support through our Specialist Services.

There’s no such thing as a typical day. Sometimes it might be a walk with Gizmo 🐶, a chat, food shopping or some exercise. Other times it’s working on confidence, managing anxiety, healthy eating, budgeting or simply being there on a difficult day with a little encouragement.

The most important thing is building trust, understanding each person as an individual and supporting them to grow in confidence, independence and wellbeing.

Happy Battle Day! 🌼☀️

It’s Battle of Flowers day in Jersey! 🌸🎉

Today, the island comes together to enjoy an afternoon of incredible hand-crafted floats, music, dancing, colour and, most importantly, that wonderful family atmosphere that makes Battle such a special part of island life.

From the young to the young at heart, there’s something for everyone to enjoy! 💛

Our Specialist Services continue to grow 💙

Summer is a great time to shine a light on some of the fantastic work happening across Aurum Home Care — and our Specialist Services continue to grow.

Matt and his team provide support that goes far beyond traditional care. From helping with weekly finances and budgeting to supporting with everyday tasks, building confidence and making independent living more achievable, our Specialist Services team works alongside each individual to find practical solutions that make a genuine difference.

The service continues to develop and respond to the needs of the people we support. We’re incredibly proud of how it’s growing and, most importantly, of the positive impact the team is having.
