A little light hearted post on a Friday… because why not.

One of our lovely patients who works at the zoo, sent some pictures of me and neil reminding us of some past fun with the orangutan’s!

Heres me performing an ECHO (heart scan) on Dagu. And Neil delivering baby Jaya by c-section.

such a highlight for both our careers 🙏🙏🙏 an experience we will never forget!

What a day… in my wildest dreams when stepping into medical school would it have occured to me that assisted dying one day would become legal in the uk, it felt like an abstract concept.

And I dont know how it makes me feel. Can i imagine performing this procedure… not sure…but i know supporting families at the end of life is a privlidge.

I will always remember the grandparents of a 21 year old who travelled to europe for assisted dying, and the ripple effect of the emotions through the whole family.

This news will polarise people, and I hope we navigate this new age of medicine with dignity and repect for those involved.

I really believe every woman interested in having children should know there AMH. Have you ever wondered if you’re leaving having kids too late? Or perhaps your mum went through an early menopause and perhaps you will too?

Your AMH level doesn’t predict whether you can or will get pregnant, but gives you a fair idea of how many eggs you’ve got left in your basket.

I’ve recently tested my own AMH level and had a little shock, but at least I know and that helps me plan for my future.
