🤖 48 hours, 15 teams and a £10,000 prize pot!

Last weekend, the Digital Jersey Hub was filled with ideas, creativity and collaboration as 15 teams came together for the Jersey AI Hackathon, tackling real challenges facing our Island.

From healthcare and financial services to recruitment, transport and preserving Jersey's heritage, participants had just 48 hours to turn their ideas into working AI-powered solutions, with support from industry mentors along the way.

The weekend concluded with teams pitching their projects to a panel of expert judges, showcasing the talent, creativity and potential of AI to make a real difference in Jersey.

🏆 A huge congratulations to our winners:

🔹 Overall Winner & Greatest Potential Impact for Jersey: Maria Madalyna – Anlgma, an AI-powered platform helping pharmacies predict medicine shortages and protect patient access to treatment.

🔹Best Working Prototype: JerriAI, Charlie Morgan – A friendly AI language partner helping islanders learn and practice Jersey’s endangered Jèrriais language.

🔹Most Innovative Use of AI: CodeRock, Mark McNally – a simulator of potential futures for Jersey, using AI to identify solutions to future challenges.
