Final “Meet the Team” series: We have Erica Nicolls, Neurological Pilates Instructor🧘🏼♀️.
Erica has taken on the main instructor role for our Jersey Brain Tumour Charity Pilates classes, this year.
Erica started her training at the dance 💃 academy in Rotterdam teaching contemporary and jazz dance. Coming to Jersey in 2004, heading into finance. Leaving in 2015 for her true passion to start Pilates studies in Taunton and Clevedon. Erica worked with a neuro physiotherapist learning both mat and reformer with Parkinson’s, MS and stroke participants. Erica taught at Healthhaus for 2 years which is where we met until going onto her own private venture of her own studio. 🌟 Her biggest career achievement is running my own studio
Erica enjoys ‘client led’ teaching as that allows time to really focus on individual’s needs and how they are feeling on that particular day which is why the JBTC class were a good fit as class size is never more than 12. Erica is keen to continually learn. Erica enjoys the Gym, reading 📖 and playing the flute 🪈.
