Traditional/realism lighthouse mix up!

Seen a few tattooers that I follow on here doing this sorta style and thought i’d give it a go myself.

In love with how this piece came out. Blending two of my favourite styles into a classic styled piece. Doesn’t get much better than that 🙌.

Post Malone - drawn in blue ballpoint pen on watercolour paper.

Loved getting a bit more creative with this one and playing around with different framing for each piece. Put a lot of work this time round into the hair. Super happy with how that’s came out this time round!

Had a blast doing this one. Trying to learn more and pick up on different bits each time I do one of these. Keen to keep going at it and getting better as I go!

For my second biro portrait attempt, you know I had to go for Max Holloway ahead of UFC 329.

Such a fun one to do. Really playing around with darker tones in this one and being more deliberate with my shadows.

Massively keen to eventually get the chance to try tattooing some of these!

First ever attempt at using a biro for a portrait!

Now, I know I normally do traditional, but who’s to say you gotta stick to just that one thing.

This was a super fun piece to do. Really challenged me with trying to get the correct tones using only a simple tool like a ballpoint pen. Definitely things to learn going forward. Mainly things like hair and facial hair. If these designs were to be tattooed, you’d have to take the healing into consideration and how they may look down the road.

Nevertheless, still super proud of how this one came out. So keen to start smashing out more like this. Realism/surrealism mix.

Super proud of how this piece came out! Started it a good while ago but was one of them that you just let yourself forget about 😂.

This was my first ever painting that I had used coloured inks for. Was definitely different to my previous mediums but a super nice result.

When I can tattoo again, this would make a beautiful front or back piece with adaptations to fit the body nicely!

Hello everyone! Been a good minute since I’ve put a post out so thought I’d share some recent bits I’ve been working on and a bit about what I’ve been up to!

Obviously whilst still smashing out my usual trad sheets, I’ve been doing a lot more blackwork/dotwork pieces to expand my portfolio and styles of work that I can do. When I am back tattooing, I would love to do some of these dot work designs at a reduced rate!

Whilst not being able to tattoo has been like smashing my head against a wall, it has also been humbling to go right back to the beginning and revisit my portfolio of artwork. It’s so important to care about the art first, then the tattooing. If you are not an artist first, you should not be a tattoo artist. Simply put.

On a personal note - I got to go watch one of my absolute favourite bands the other week in Camden. The Story So Far and were absolutely amazing and both sounded incredible. If you ever get a chance to watch them, do it!

Anyways, I’ll round it off and shut up. Been a busy few months with bits going on in the background. Hopefully I will see some of you lot soon when I manage to get back up and running! Lots of love 🫶🫶🫶🫶

I am leaving my current studio - Shade and Bone Tattoos.

After thinking about it, I have decided that in the long run, it would be more beneficial for me to step away due to personal reasons. I have had the chance to tattoo and meet some amazing people, and I truly hope my clients will continue to be tattooed by me when I find another appropriate studio.

I will not publicly get into the reasons for me leaving, however I promise I will be back and come back refreshed.

Tattooing is and has been a total life saver for me and has consumed me in the best way possible for the past few years, getting to start an apprenticeship was a dream come true.

I will be back as soon as possible. Keep an eye out as I will continue to post flash and regular updates. I hope to see all my awesome clients as soon as it’s possible.
