Before your visit, write down questions you want answered. At the visit, be sure to write down the name of a new diagnosis or any new medicines, treatments or tests recommended. Go through everything with your child to make sure he or she understands and to help calm any fears.

‼️ We had a full house last night at the Center for Health & Wellbeing as five-time Olympian and world record holder Alia Atkinson inspired swimmers and families with a powerful and heartfelt presentation.

✅ Alia shared practical advice on staying motivated, answered thoughtful questions from the audience, and generously stayed afterward to meet every young swimmer, pose for photos, and offer words of encouragement.

💧This special event was part of our Drowning Prevention Week, and we’re honored to have Alia as a partner in promoting water safety and drowning prevention. Her passion for helping families stay safe in and around the water is making a real difference.
