World No To***co Day 2026 (31 May), the Forum of International Respiratory Societies (FIRS) reiterates the need for countries to urgently implement decisions made at the 11th Conference of the Parties (COP11) to the WHO Framework Convention on To***co Control.
In particular, FIRS founding member the European Respiratory Society (ERS) highlights the devastating environmental impact of to***co and ni****ne product waste – and urges countries to consider the importance of environmental protection in the context of advancing to***co and ni****ne control policies.
