先週の土曜日に表参道バイリンガルトーストマスターズクラブ第437回例会を開催しました！

今回は日本語例会として、多くのメンバーとゲストの皆さまにご参加いただき、笑顔と学びにあふれる充実した時間となりました。

Good & Newでは、仕事や趣味、挑戦など、それぞれの前向きなニュースを共有。準備スピーチでは、「勇気を出して一歩踏み出した経験」と「耳が持つ平衡感覚から学ぶ“傾聴”」という、それぞれ異なるテーマながら心に残る2本のスピーチが披露されました。

テーブルトピックスでは、「誤解されやすいこと」「人生最後の日に何をする？」など、思わず話したくなるテーマで大盛り上がり。論評セッションでも、スピーカーの魅力を引き出す建設的なフィードバックが交わされ、学びの多い例会となりました。

次回は 7月4日（土）の英語例会 です。ゲストのご参加も大歓迎です！

✨434th Meeting Recap✨

We held our 434th meeting on May 2nd—another cheerful and meaningful session!

We warmly welcomed a new member, who shared her goal of becoming more confident in public speaking 👏

From joining a gospel choir to reconnecting with friends and enjoying life after recovery, our Good & New session was full of positive, real-life moments.

We also heard inspiring speeches on personal growth, curiosity, and creativity, followed by a lively Table Topics session centered around travel and holidays 🌏✈️

Supportive feedback and thoughtful evaluations helped everyone continue growing together.

We were delighted to welcome 3 guests to our 432nd meeting!

🌟 Good & New
Members shared uplifting updates—from staying active with indoor Zumba on a rainy day to launching an English meetup and reflecting on “information bubbles.”

🎤 Prepared Speech
TM SA delivered an inspiring Icebreaker, sharing his journey of overcoming the fear of making mistakes in English—after taking 300+ lessons from a karaoke room! 🎤 His motivation evolved from impressing others to genuinely connecting with people.

🗣️ Special: Debate Session
We held a lively debate on:
“Does social media do more harm than good to human relationships?”
Both sides presented strong arguments, followed by an engaging audience Q&A.

今回はNKさんが新メンバーとして入会され、入会式も行われました✨

🌟 Good & Newでは、永住権取得や新しいMacの購入など、さまざまな嬉しいニュースが共有されました。

🎤 準備スピーチでは、TM DHが「30分で届かない幸せ」をテーマに、日本と中国の食文化の対比を通じて、準備のプロセスそのものも幸福の一部であるという気づきを与えてくれました。

🎤 テーブルトピックスでは、人生の決断や節目に関する問いが投げかけられ、即興スピーチで盛り上がりました。

📝 論評セッションでは、スピーチの強みとともに、テーマをさらに深掘りすることでより印象的になるというフィードバックが共有されました。
