June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month 💙

This month, we encourage all men to prioritize their mental well-being, speak openly about their struggles, seek support when needed and check in on one another. Strength is not about suffering in silence, it is about recognizing when you need help and having the courage to ask for it.

Let's work together to break the stigma surrounding men's mental health and create a community where every man feels seen, heard and supported.

It's okay not to be okay. It's okay to talk. It's okay to seek help.

Tag a man in your life and remind him that his mental health matters.

During our February 2026 Medical Camp, care went beyond simply giving out glasses. We ensured our patients could comfortably read and see clearly in their everyday lives.

Here, Dennis(our accountant) Dayknow Denix is assisting a patient in testing her new glasses using a bible to confirm the prescription is just right for her, alongside our wonderful volunteers, Linda Densmore and Arlene Gaer Yale

Because the right glasses should not only fit your face… they should improve your quality of life too.

This is your reminder to FINISH your medication dose exactly as prescribed

Stopping medication halfway can:
❌ delay healing
❌ make the illness come back
❌ lead to drug resistance

Even when symptoms disappear, the treatment may not be complete yet

Your health deserves consistency, not guesswork

At Ekerenyo Amani Health Centre, we are always happy to serve you and support your journey to better health.

🩺 Why are return dates (TCA) important?

After your consultation, you may be given a TCA, meaning To Come Again, together with a specific date to return to the facility📅.

These follow-up visits help us monitor your progress, review treatment, discuss results and ensure you are healing well. Missing your appointment may delay proper care and recovery.

As you come for your next visit, kindly remember to:
✅️Keep time and follow your appointment date.
✅️Carry your clinic card and any requested documents or results.
✅️Inform the healthcare provider about any changes or concerns you may have experienced.

At Ekerenyo Amani Health Centre, your health and wellbeing remain our priority, and we are always committed to walking with you throughout your healthcare journey.
