Through our year-round Partners in Pride campaign, the SLF is honoured to work with LGBTIQ-led community partners in DRC, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda who are defending human rights in the context of . They are saving lives every day through their courageous work.

The time is NOW to help defend health and human rights for all.

MAAYGO participated in a Community Dialogue and Stakeholder Engagement meeting held at Chulaimbo Hospital Hall in Kisumu West Sub County. The engagement brought together community stakeholders and security agents to discuss collaboration, inclusion, community safety, and strengthening access to services for marginalized populations.

The dialogue provided a platform for meaningful conversations on existing challenges, best practices, and collective approaches toward building safer, inclusive, and rights-based communities.

MAAYGO participated in the Kisumu County TWG meeting, where we presented on integration, best practices, key challenges, and the way forward in strengthening inclusive community interventions.

We reaffirm our commitment to collaboration, advocacy, and promoting equitable access to services for marginalized communities through sustainable and rights-based approaches.

we stand in solidarity with LGBTQIA+ communities across the world in marking the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT).

At MAAYGO, we reaffirm our commitment to dignity, equality, inclusion, and human rights for all. No one should face violence, discrimination, exclusion, or fear because of who they are or whom they love.

This year’s IDAHOBIT is a reminder that visibility matters, voices matter, and every person deserves to live freely, safely, and authentically. Together, we continue to advocate for justice, access to healthcare, mental wellness, protection, and equal opportunities for Gender and Sexual Diverse Minority communities.
