🩸 Blood Donation Week: Understanding Blood Groups 🩸

Did you know that not all blood is the same? Human blood is classified into eight common blood groups based on the ABO and Rh systems:

🅰️ A+ and A−
🅱️ B+ and B−
🆎 AB+ and AB−
🅾️ O+ and O−

The + or − indicates whether your blood has the Rh factor.

💡 Fun Facts:
* 🩸 O− is known as the universal donor because it can be given to patients of any blood group in emergencies.
* 🩸 AB+ is the universal recipient and can receive blood from all blood groups.
* 🩸 O+ is the most common blood type and is in high demand for transfusions.

Knowing your blood group is important, but what's even more important is becoming a blood donor. Every donation has the potential to save lives.

What is blood donation and why does it matter?
