The Kenya Clinical Officers Association National Executive Council, together with branch officials and the KUCO Vice National Treasurer, yesterday held a consultative meeting with the Director of Health and the CECM for Health, Tana River County.

The meeting provided an important platform to discuss issues affecting Clinical Officers and explore collaborative ways of strengthening healthcare service delivery within the county.

During the engagement, the county leadership reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Clinical Officers and addressing key concerns, including delayed promotions, improved working conditions, representation of Clinical Officers in county leadership structures, and the implementation of the Clinical Officers’ career guidelines.

As an Association, we remain committed to sustained engagement and follow-up to ensure these matters are addressed amicably and in the best interest of healthcare workers and the people of Tana River County.

We sincerely thank members for the continued trust and confidence in our leadership.
