Earlier today at Carnivore Grounds, nurses, midwives, healthcare leaders, and partners came together for the climax of the International Nurses Week celebrations under the theme:
โOur Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives.โ
The event was graced by Cabinet Secretary for Health, Hon Aden Duale, and marked important milestones for the nursing and midwifery profession, including the launch of the Nurse of the Year Awards (NOYA) and the unveiling of key policy and strategic documents aimed at strengthening nursing and midwifery practice in Kenya.
As we celebrate nurses and midwives across the country, we also recognize their continued dedication, resilience, and vital contribution to strengthening healthcare systems and improving lives every day.
With appreciation to our partners and stakeholders The Ministry of Health Division of Nursing and Midwifery Services, Nursing Council of Kenya , National Nurses Association Of Kenya - NNAK , Midwives Association of Kenya - MAK , Kenya Progressive Nurses Association , Kenyatta National Hospital , the J&J Foundation among other key stakeholders.
