Meet our first Cohort of the 'Designs Nest' Program. This is one of our 2020 flagship programs which aims to increase the number of women in the digital space by empowering them to become innovators and build their own future. We are targeting vulnerable girls who might have never been introduced to tech in their schools and teach them coding and digital skills. This will ensure that underrepresented girls not only take their place in tech sector but also be designers of their own future.

“WeAskLucybot’ team was delighted to participate in A Billion Girls Makeathon! We came away so inspired by the 10 provocative prototypes and the ensuing dialogue that pushed us all to think differently about the challenges we are tackling in our work. The next step for the Billion Girls CoLab is to find a set of partners who are interested in collaborating further– first, to take forth some of these prototypes in a one-week design sprint; and then ultimately to be a part of this innovation platform that works collaboratively to build solutions for adolescent girls. We're eager to explore what that could look like and what might be possible with your organizations!
Attached is the workshop report.
