Child Destiny Foundation (CDf) is a community driven rehabilitation project, which was founded in 2013 to serve Children with special Needs and vulnerable families living in Kibra.
The origination of this organization was inspired by the numerous challenges that children with special needs and their families/caregivers face in their day-to-day lives.
CDF exists to promote the well being of children with special needs by providing a holistic conducive environment for healthy development and facilitating families in their role as primary caregivers.
Job Opportunity : Fundraising Manager.
Job Description
Experienced fundraising manager with excellent leadership skills and networking abilities
who will be responsible for building good relationships with prospective donors and clients across multiple sectors.
Communicating with the broader public and internal teams
Deligating tasks and drawing up plans to ensure annual targets are met.
Should be well organised, proactive and have the ability to inspire those around us.
Staying informed on marketing strategies, be comfortable doing research on different sectors,have sharp public speaking skills.
Responsibiities:
Conducting research on fundraising opportunties.
Writing, submitting and uploading press (social media) release as required.
Writing fundraising proposals and submitting to potential donors.
Implement different marketing strategies and promotional companies
Organising and attending non profit events and networking with relevant stakeholders.
Establishing good relationships with staff,members of the public and media/Social media.
Workng hours:
A hybrid working arrangement where your work will be majorly remote and occasionally reporting to Child Destiny Center offices when needs be.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelors Degree in PR, Community Development or any related field.
2-3 years-of fund raising experience
Past experience in sales and marketing is also an added advantage
Sound knowledge of the charity sector
Excellent written, verbal and telephonic communication skills
Salary: Ksh. 20,000- consolidated
