Water quality is the most underrated factor in egg production. Clean water is as important as good good feed.

Poor quality water causes:
-Reduced feed intake (hens drink less → eat less → lay less).
-Increased disease risk (waterborne pathogens).
-Biofilm in pipes (blocks ni***es and harbours bacteria).

What to do:
-Test water source quarterly.
-Clean header tanks weekly.
-Flush pipes monthly.
-Maintain water temp below 25°C.
