What an insightful documentary on the perception of African hair.
For years I would make comments like, I'm the one who got the bad hair in the family or you can borrow my hair to wash pots and pans.
My journey to loving my hair came with a lot of decolonisation and busting myths that were instilled in us from childhood.
Let's teach our children(boys and girls) that our hair is beautiful.
