Over the past five editions, the Quality Healthcare Forum and Awards has honoured and celebrated individuals, organisations, and health facilities in the health sector for their excellence and innovation in strengthening the health system.

Amidst the challenges that persist towards attaining the Sustainable Development Goals agenda and national health goals, some individuals and organisations continue to advance equitable access to quality, responsive and affordable healthcare through sacrifice, commitment, industry, and innovative solutions. Therefore, the need to be recognised, celebrated and encouraged has driven the awards initiative.

The 2024 edition awarded 20 winners, celebrated 76 finalists, and received over 4,800 nomination entries. The programme has continued to change the narrative and highlight the impact of positive contributions to the health sector for scalability, replicability, and sustainability.

On 5th April 2024, we held the inaugural Quality Healthcare Forum, the first of its kind in Kenya. The forum takes an opportunity-driven approach, recognising the impact of resilient quality primary health care systems on UHC.

The high-level platform brought together leaders and stakeholders in the health sector and media to champion quality health systems, primary health care, accountability, intersectoral action for health and innovation for improved outcomes and sustainable development.

As we marked the 5th Edition and seven years since we set out on this journey to advance equitable access to quality healthcare in Kenya and the region, we are delighted to share the winners of the Quality Healthcare Awards 2024.
