Our team recently hosted a Continous Medical Education (CME) session on the Labour Care Guide (LCG), led by senior nurse Felister Makau and a team from Langata subcounty, with CEO Dr. Innocent Maranga in attendance.
The LCG, recommended by the WHO, replaces traditional methods and supports evidence-based, women-centred labour care. Our team explored its benefits in monitoring labour progress, maternal and fetal well-being, and guiding timely clinical decisions to improve outcomes for mothers and babies.
