Do you know someone expecting a baby?

The greatest gift you can give isn't another baby outfit.

It's knowing she'll have someone to support her when she comes home with her baby.

At Mum & Me, we provide compassionate, professional postnatal care in the comfort of your home—so mothers can recover with confidence, babies receive the best start, and families never have to navigate those first weeks alone.

Dear New Dad,

She may tell you she's okay.

Watch closely.

Is she eating?

Has she showered?

Has she laughed today?

Sometimes the strongest mothers are the ones who need someone to quietly ask,

"Can I take the baby for twenty minutes?"

It is the small things that matter.

After a home care support of a mum with her new born, it is messages like these that remind us why showing up for mothers matters. Because every mother deserves to feel that someone was truly in her corner. 💜

Thank you to every mother who has reached out in request for our day or night supports

⁣⁣
It's Monday morning...⁣⁣
⁣⁣
And I still can't explain the excitement I feel whenever I know I'm about to meet a new mum.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Every home is different. Every baby is different.⁣⁣
And every mother has her own story.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Yet there is something I see in almost every new mum.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It's rarely spoken out loud.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It's hidden behind the smile, the congratulations, and the beautiful baby photos.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
When we sit down and talk, it gently begins to surface...⁣⁣
⁣⁣
*"Will I do this right?"* *"Will I cope once I'm home?"*⁣⁣
*"I'm so exhausted already."*⁣⁣
"I'm still so sore after giving birth."*⁣⁣
*"What if I can't settle my baby?"*⁣⁣
*"What if I don't know what to do?"*⁣⁣
⁣⁣
These are real questions.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Not because mothers aren't capable...⁣⁣
⁣⁣
But because no woman should be expected to navigate one of life's biggest transitions alone.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
One of the greatest privileges of my work is watching the relief on a mother's face when she realises she doesn't have to figure it all out by herself.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Knowing that **Mum & Me** can walk alongside her—during the day, through the night, and in those quiet moments when confidence feels a little fragile—changes everything.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
That's what personalised support means.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It means having someone in your corner.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Someone to reassure you.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Someone to answer the questions that keep you awake.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Someone who sees **you**, not just your baby.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Before I leave for each visit, there's one small tradition that's become very special to me.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I often take a beautiful **Kenyan Kikoy**—a gift just for Mum.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
A simple symbol of warmth, comfort and love. Because while everyone celebrates the arrival of the baby...i believe we should never stop celebrating the woman who made that miracle possible.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
To every mum who has trusted me to walk beside you during one of the most vulnerable seasons of your life...⁣⁣
⁣⁣
**Thank you.**⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It is a privilege I never take for granted. ❤️⁣⁣
⁣⁣
**Are you expecting a baby or have you recently welcomed one into your family?**⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I'd love to walk this journey with you.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Send me a DM or WhatsApp to learn how Mum & Me can support you with personalised postnatal care in the comfort of your home.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
And if you know a new mum—or a dad who wants to make sure his partner is truly supported—please tag them or share this post. They may need it more than you realise.⁣⁣

𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲.⁣

Some reach out because they're expecting their first baby.⁣

Some have just come home from hospital and don't know if what they're experiencing is normal.⁣

Some simply want someone who will listen before giving advice.⁣

That's where our journey begins.⁣

Before there is a care plan...⁣

Before home visits...⁣

Before breastfeeding support...⁣

Before recovery coaching...⁣

There is a conversation.⁣

A chance for us to understand your family, your concerns, your hopes, and how we can support you in a way that feels right for you.⁣

At Mum and Me, we don't believe in one-size-fits-all care. We believe every family's journey deserves to start with being heard.⁣

Because the best support begins with a relationship—not a package.⁣

We'd love to meet you. Book a call. Watsapp Us

I was thinking about the mothers sitting at home, wondering if they were doing enough.⁣

The ones who needed someone to reassure them that what they were experiencing was normal.⁣

The ones who simply needed someone in their corner.⁣

Being featured by The Daily Nation is a real honour—not because it recognises us, but because it shines a light on something we've always believed:⁣

No mother should have to navigate those first weeks alone.⁣

To every family that has trusted us to walk alongside you, thank you.⁣

Your stories are the reason we do what we do.⁣
