Good morning and happy New year everyone, we are back and feeling very optimistic for 2015, after a very long and enlightening training and holiday period

I hope you all enjoyed the holidays with your friends and family and that you are all in good health and have been using some these tips to keep your skin glowing and healthy.

Well its the weekend and as usual its homemade skincare recipe time:

HONEY SKIN BENEFITS

Did you know that honey is great for your skin?

In addition to its silky texture and sweet aroma, honey is known for its antiseptic benefits and it contains anti-aging vitamins that help counteract the effects of sun exposure, pollution and dry climates.

The combination of C, D and E vitamins plus minerals help skin stay moisturized, smooth and glowing.

A little honey and a drop or two of egg white is nice simple mask for firming skin. Just mix, apply and rinse in 15 minutes and your face will be feeling just as smooth and silky as the honey itself

Pick the Right Facial Cleanser for Your Skin Type:

You should try spending a full minute cleaning your face.

If your skin is very oily, use a gel cleanser that will bubble up.

If your skin is more normal to dry, a cream cleanser is your best bet.

I highly recommend using a wash cloth or muslin cloth to clean your face as it will help slough off dead skin cells.

If you want to try something out of the ordinary, try cleansing your skin with cleansing oil.

The oil, oddly enough, breaks down the oil on your skin. People who use cleansing oils swear by them.

Deciding which to use really depends on your skin type and acne severity.

More sensitive skin may need a gentler product, while less sensitive skin may require a harsher product to see results.

Today's tip sounds a bit scary but please note I'm not trying to frighten anyone just give researched skincare tips.

Depletion of the earths protective ozone layer is allowing increasing pe*******on of harmful UV radiation that is extremely harmful to skin and is the leading cause of skin cancer. Hence the increase of skin cancer cases in modern times.

Protect your skin from the sun by using sunblock every day.
Ultraviolet rays will damage your skin over time and it's essential that you protect yourself from harmful radiation.

Use a good sunscreen or makeup with sunscreen in it, even a little, before going out, and you will have fresh, healthy skin.

Alternatively during extremely sunny weather, protect yourself by wearing clothing that will cover you, like a stylish hat that will simultaneously protect you and make you look good.

Its the weekend again and its time for another organic skincare remedy:

YOGHURT contains zinc, calcium, B vitamins, protein and yeast.
When you apply yogurt to the skin you are adding enzymes and oils that are natural moisturizers. It can help can reduce pore size, improve skin texture, and give skin a healthy glow.

Use 100ml plain yogurt, 1 tsp honey and 1 tsp lemon juice.
Apply mixture on the face and neck using a cotton ball.
Give yourself an added bonus by putting cucumber slices over your eyes and rest while you are at it.
Leave it on for 10-15 minutes then rinse. Your skin will look revitalised.

Night/Bedtime tip:
LIMIT BATH TIME. Hot water and long showers / baths remove natural oils from your skin leaving it without its natural lubrication. Limit your bath or shower time, and use warm — rather than hot — water.

Good morning beautiful people i hope your week has started on a bright and healthy note. the tip of the day is:

DONT TOUCH YOUR FACE. Many people have bad habits of messing with acne or leaning their face on their hands.
Your hands have oils on them that will clog pores, increasing blemishes.

No matter how tempting it might be, don't pop pimples or interfere with anything facial- though it may seem like it will make it better, it actually makes it much worse and instead of dealing with a two day pimple you now have a two week long project.

Also don't forget to often wash and change your pillow case often- the oils linger on the fabric, getting on your face during the night.

Mash half cup of natural yogurt, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1/4 ripe banana.
Apply this pack on face and neck and leave for 10-15 minutes and then rinse off with warm water, then use cold water.
Use this remedy at least once a week to help prevent and treat wrinkles.
