Exciting News for Nyeri County Referral Hospital!
​We are thrilled to announce that Nyeri County Referral Hospital (NCRH) is taking a significant step toward becoming a premier center for medical excellence.
​Today we hosted a joint delegation from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) and the East, Central and Southern Africa College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ECSACOG).

​The visit was a critical assessment and preparation phase for the official accreditation of NCRH to begin offering specialized Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OBS/GYN) residency training.

​Key Benefits for Our Community
1.​Enhanced Expertise: Bringing specialists-in-training in our facility ensures a higher standard of clinical care and more "hands-on" expertise for our patients.

CELEBRATING A LIFE WELL LIVED

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved colleague and friend, Dr. Peter Munyua - the 1st Chief Officer, Health Services, Nyeri County, and current Medical Superintendent, Karatina Hospital.

As a department, we have lost a dedicated soldier and passionate health manager whose service and leadership touched many lives.

We kindly ask that you keep his family in your prayers and support them during this painful period of loss.

May the Almighty grant Dr. Munyua’s soul eternal rest.

Family and Friends are meeting daily for prayers at his home in Ring Road Estate Nyeri starting from 4pm.
