Dear PARTNERS FOR HOPE INTERNATIONAL,
"The world population is growing at an alarming rate and with that growth comes a greater responsibility to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
There are currently more opportunities to spread the Gospel than ever before, therefore it is imperative that we see men and women answering God’s call to missions.
In Matthew 9:38, we are commanded to pray for more laborers to fulfill the Great Commission. In response to this command, the BBFI Mission Office is launching Project 938 to rally the churches of the Baptist Bible Fellowship International to pray for more laborers. Project 938 is an intentional call for a concerted prayer that men and women will hear and surrender to the call of God.
938 Sunday will be held on October 3, 2021 and the BBFI Mission Office is encouraging the churches of the Baptist Bible Fellowship International to come together on that day to pray for more laborers. Church registration for Project 938 will begin during Fellowship Week at Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO (May 3-5, 2021). Upon registration, churches will receive an Introduction Packet that will include everything needed to begin planning for Project 938.
I ask that you promote this project to pray for more laborers with pastors and churches that you will be reporting in. Encourage them to participate by registering in person at the May meeting or online the beginning of May.
Also, I am asking that you encourage the churches on your field to participate. In the near future, we will send you links of the promotion material that they can edit and use.
On March 2, 2021, at 10 AM CST, the Mission Office is hosting, on its weekly live video podcast, a special episode officially kicking off the Project 938 campaign. We encourage you to tune in and subscribe as we discuss Project 938 and its potential spiritual impact worldwide. You will find it on YouTube under BBFI Missions.
The video clip you can share or post. The Talking Point document gives you the information to share as you speak with people and in churches. The Save the Date card we sent out is also included. In a few months you will see many more resources available to help promote this.
I know you would agree with me that we need more missionaries. You need more missionary help where you are, I’m sure. So, would you join in and help promote Project 938 and also *PRAY?*
