The Golden Window: Timing and Duration
You don't need hours under the sun to trigger vitamin D synthesis. In fact, less is more.
The Best Time: Aim for early morning (usually before 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM, depending on your location). The UV index is lower, and the heat is less intense, reducing the risk of dehydration or burns.
The Duration: For most babies, 5 to 15 minutes is plenty.
Consistency: Brief, regular exposure is much safer and more effective than one long session.
