Thanksgiving for Journey Mercies

We lift our voices in gratitude to the Almighty for His unfailing grace and protection over the delegation that traveled to Durban, South Africa for the SAFPA National International Convention 2026, under the able leadership of our National Chairperson Mr. Elkanah Mwinami, LMT.

The team touched down safely in the Country at 10:00 pm EAT with Kenya Airways, a testimony of divine covering throughout the journey. From departure to arrival, every step was guided by His hand, ensuring smooth transitions, safe skies, and a peaceful landing.

This moment is not just about reaching a destination, but about acknowledging the One who makes every mission possible. We recognize that without His mercies, no journey is guaranteed.

Today, we celebrate safe passage, renewed strength, and the opportunity to represent our Association at such a significant continental gathering.

We remain thankful, for indeed, “The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”

Makueni County Mortuary Practitioners Advance Professional Agenda in Strategic Meeting with Dr. Harvey Mulei Mbithi- Chief Officer Health Human Resource Management & Administration.

Building on the commitments made during the Mortician Recognition Day 2026 held in March, morticians in Makueni County convened a successful follow-up meeting today with Chief Officer Dr. Harvey Mbithi at Makueni County Referral Hospital.

The meeting reaffirmed the county’s dedication to strengthening the profession and enhancing quality service delivery.

Key areas of discussion and agreement included:
1. Professional Standards: Establishing and upholding high levels of practice across all mortuary services.

2. Training & Motivation: Expanding workshops and continuous professional development while fostering staff morale.
