What we love most about having an open kitchen is exactly that — it’s open. 👩‍🍳

So when ‘Slow Noodles’ author Chantha offered to jump in and show our team how to make her famous Green Curry and Tofu with Poverty Rice… well, let’s just say our staff were very keen for the learning opportunity. 🍛

Professional development is a daily practice at The Fringe, allowing our team the space to experiment with new ideas and grow creatively.

Learning skills and techniques in the kitchen helps us develop not only as cooks, but also as community advocates for healthier meals that preserve stories of food x people x spaces.

Extremely grateful to Chantha and Clara from for sharing their time, stories and delicious flavours with us 🙌

There are lots of ways people recharge on a day off: staying active, spending time with friends and family, trying a new hobby — or doing absolutely nothing!

Rest days play an important role in staff wellbeing, giving people time to reset, reconnect and come back feeling refreshed.

The Fringe is a health promotion organisation working with local partners to create healthier x spaces. We’ve just jumped on board as a health promotion partner for the Sangker River Run, and we’re super excited to support you on your journey to race day 🏁

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing training tips, workshops and motivation to help you prepare, stay healthy and enjoy every step of the process.

To kick it off, we’ve created free training programs for beginner runners: 5km, 10km, half marathon and full marathon.
