Huge mistake…
My biggest regret? Not coming to Cambodia sooner. But my main attraction wasn't the ancient temples of Angkor — it was the wild gibbons living high in their canopies.
Just 10 years ago, they were completely wiped out here by poaching. Thanks to a complex reintroduction program of Wildlife Care, the forest is alive again, and 11 gibbons have been born in the wild.

Why does this matter to you?
No gibbons = the forest ecosystem collapses.
No healthy forest = less oxygen and more CO2 globally.
This directly affects every single one of us, no matter where we live.

How to help?
When traveling to Asia, visit only ethical wildlife rehabilitation centers. Your support helps experts return these sensitive primates to nature.
If we don’t speak up, this world will vanish forever.

It was a completely unexpected encounter in the forests of Angkor. I initially went there to see the unique temple complex (a total must-visit!), but ended up running into my absolute favorite primates.
I thought I’d just make a short, quick video, but I couldn't stop there. I truly hope this brings some value and raises awareness. Next time you travel, I highly encourage you to support one of Southeast Asia's wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centers with your visit. Travel

Пример работающей программы по сохранению вымирающего вида птиц - Индийский Марабу. Птица, конечно впечатляющая и застенчивая. В видео есть ещё один вид азиатского аиста Яванский Марабу.

Если поедите в Камбоджу - обязательно посетите центр сохранения дикой природы. Там много программ по сохранению дикой природы, которые реально работают и есть результаты. Им просто нужна поддержка.

Что посмотреть вечером?
Фильм " По Млечному Пути" 2016 режиссера Эмира Кустурицы.
Этот фильм про любовь и контакт людей. несмотря на военный контекст, фильм очень лёгкий и глубокий.
А ещё это порция тонкого юмора. А фильме искусно переплетена природа и ее взаимодействие с человеком - будь то курица возле зеркала, летящий гусь, Осел интеллектуал или змея спасатель.
Однозначно этот фильм 2-х часовое погружение в мир любви, красоты и свободы. Приятного просмотра. Делитесь в комментариях своим мнением)

"On the Milky Road" by Emir Kusturica.

This film is about love and human connection. Despite the wartime context, the film is very light and profound. It also has a dose of subtle humor. The film skillfully intertwines nature and its interactions with humans—be it a chicken near a mirror, a flying goose, an intellectual donkey, or a rescue snake. This film is definitely a two-hour immersion into a world of love, beauty, and freedom.

𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠. The streets are blooming with red ornaments and traditional outfits, but the real magic is in the intent.
Unlike the Western tradition of big public gatherings, New Year in Asia is a family affair. There’s a visible hurry in the air — but it’s a beautiful one. People are simply rushing to get home. To be together. To be family. 🧧👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
