Hello, my name is Jonica Clay, and I am a doctoral student in Performance Psychology conducting a research study as part of my dissertation.
I am inviting active-duty service members who have participated in health coaching within the past 12 months to take part in this study. This may include coaching received through Military OneSource, installation wellness programs, or the Armed Forces Wellness Center, or similar services.
The purpose of this research is to better understand service members’ experiences with health coaching and how those experiences may relate to health, readiness, and performance.
Participation involves answering several interview questions about your experience with health coaching.
The interview is expected to take approximately 30–45 minutes and will be conducted virtually, by phone or in-person.
With your permission, the interview may be recorded for research purposes.
Participation is completely voluntary. Your decision to participate or not participate will not affect your duty status, medical care, or professional standing in any way. All responses will be kept confidential, and no identifying information will be included in the study.
Participants must be 18 years of age or older and must have completed health coaching within the past 12 months.
