I’m so excited to share that I will be speaking on the Birth Off Base – Korea Virtual Panel 🇰🇷✨

I’ll be joining fellow CLDs Adele (Morning Calm Birthing Services) and Paige (The Birth Narrative), along with IBCLC Herion Lee (https://www.herionlee.com), as we talk about what it’s like navigating birth and postpartum care while stationed overseas.

Black Maternal Health Week is more than a moment—it’s a movement. 🖤

Founded by the Black Mamas Matter Alliance, this week centers the voices, experiences, and leadership of Black mothers, birthing people, and birth workers.
In the U.S., Black women are 3x more likely to die from pregnancy-related cause not because of individual choices, but because of systemic inequities in healthcare.

At Cultive Doula, I believe:
✨ Every birth deserves dignity
✨ Every mother deserves to be heard
✨ Every family deserves support
This week, I honor, uplift, and advocate.

For the past two years TRICARE has been covering birth and lactation support for all beneficiaries, whether Prime or Select, both CONUS and OCONUS.
The program under which coverage is guaranteed, however, is a Demonstration, and right now they have to decide whether they will continue to cover these services after December 31st.

A huge thank you to Adele for sharing this critical update! We've witnessed countless families thrive thanks to the birth and lactation support provided through Tricare. These services are truly life-changing. We're also excited that we have additional birth workers working diligently, preparing to offer services via Tricare, meaning even more families will have access to support. We must continue to advocate strongly for our families and the dedicated birth workers who serve them. Thank you for all that you do!

A powerful resurrection that transformed sorrow into joy and brought an eternal promise. It's a reminder that even after the darkest times, new life and profound hope can always emerge.

Happy World Doula Week 🤎✨

I’m so grateful to do this work.

Being a doula means showing up fully, intentionally, and with care. It means holding space during some of life’s most powerful and vulnerable moments, offering support without judgment, and advocating for my clients every step of the way.
I’ve had the honor of witnessing strength, resilience, and transformation in so many forms. And I don’t take that lightly.

To every family who has trusted me, thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. It is truly a privilege.

And to my fellow doulas, I see you. The work we do matters more than words can capture.

Had the opportunity to attended a prenatal barre class at MYOSTUDIO with a client, and my muscles are definitely feeling it – in the best way! Such a great workout, really needed to tap into that strength today. But what really made my heart sing was seeing all the expected mamas absolutely crushing it. Their breathwork was phenomenal, truly inspiring to hear. Made this doula's ears perk right up! So much power in that room. ✨

Today was a day of deep reflection and gratitude. Not only did I get to help welcome this sweet little guy into the world during his beautiful birth journey, but I then had the honor of being part of his Brit Milah(or bris). This is the first one here at Camp Humpherys in over 30 years! To witness such a special moment in his life, rooted in tradition, was truly moving. As a birth doula, I constantly seek opportunities to learn and embrace diverse cultures, and I'm so thankful to the family for allowing me to experience all of this with them. What a blessing.
