SHENB Targets Brazil, a Key Latin American Market, with ANVISA Registration for SUNNY

SHENB, a manufacturer and developer of aesthetic medical devices, announced on September 2 that its SUNNY system has successfully obtained product registration from Brazil’s National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA), securing the regulatory approval required for commercial distribution in Brazil.
ANVISA (Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária), an agency under Brazil’s Ministry of Health, is responsible for regulating and overseeing the safety and quality of medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and other healthcare products distributed in the country. Before medical devices can be marketed and sold in Brazil, they must undergo applicable ANVISA regulatory procedures based on their classification and characteristics.
Brazil has established itself as one of the world’s leading aesthetic medicine markets, supported by strong consumer demand for aesthetic procedures. According to the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), approximately 3.1 million aesthetic procedures were performed in Brazil in 2024, placing the country among the world’s leading aesthetic markets. Interest in non-surgical aesthetic procedures is also growing as consumers increasingly seek treatments associated with shorter recovery periods and lower chances of side effects.
SHENB has already established a strong presence in Brazil through VIRTUE RF. The microneedling RF system is distributed across major markets in the Americas, including Brazil, Canada, and Mexico, with Brazil demonstrating particularly strong sales performance.
Building on its sales experience and distribution network established through VIRTUE RF, SHENB plans to further expand its product portfolio in Brazil with SUNNY. Following the ANVISA registration, the company intends to accelerate SUNNY™’s market entry and strengthen its competitiveness across Latin America, with Brazil serving as a key strategic market.
